Welcome to Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Belgrade is the third largest city in South-eastern Europe after Istanbul and Athens, with over 1,7 million inhabitants.
Explore Belgrade and its neighborhoods by renting a car and visit one of the following sights:

The old, bohemian quarter of Belgrade, Skadarlija, arose during the late 19th and early 20th century when its inns were the gathering place of the best known names in Belgrade. It is frequently compared to the Montmartre of Paris, both in appearance as well as the exuberant and dynamic artistic atmosphere.

Kalemegdan Fortress and Belgrade ZOO
The Belgrade Fortress is a museum of the history of Belgrade, a place where you can literally observe the passage of time.
The complex consists of the fortress itself, divided into the Upper Town (Despot’s Gate, Sahat kula - Clock Tower, Roman Well, Statue of the Victor), Lower Town (Nebojša Tower, Amam – Turkish bath, Gate of Charles VI) and the Kalemegdan Park.
Belgrade ZOO was founded in 1936, it is one of the oldest animal collections in Europe. The Belgrade Zoo is open 365 days per year. The cashiers are open between 8 and 16:30 h in winter, and 8 to 20 h in the summer.

Ada Ciganlija or  “Belgrade Sea”.
Green, clean, equipped and relaxed, it becomes the favourite spot of Belgraders with the first signs of the spring sun. From the early mornings until late into the night, Ada Ciganlija is always lively.

Sremski Karlovci lies on the north-eastern slopes of Fruška gora.
During the middle ages it was a fortified town. The historical core developed around the central square in Sremski Karlovci, currently bearing the name of the famous poet Branko Radičević.

A mere hundred kilometres from Belgrade, in the immediate vicinity of the town of Topola, lies Oplenac Hill, the site of the Mausoleum of the Karageorgevich Dynasty.
Prince Alexander Karageorgevich planted his vineyards there, while King Peter I Karageorgevich began the construction of the mausoleum church and the entire historical-memorial complex that would become the Karageorgevich Foundation on Oplenac.

Novi Sad
